The builing was constructed as luxary appartments at the end of the 19th centurty.
During the 1930's the building was renovated and refurbished into a hotel with the bathrooms located in the corridors.
During the 1980's the Hotel changed hands and total renovations were carried out, with all the rooms converted to include en suite bathrooms, the reception/bar area was moved to its current position and the consevatory was built.
In 1995 the World Athletic Championships were held in Gothenburg and the Hotel was given an alchohol license.
The Hotel is regulary refurbished to keep it modern and fresh and to include all the facitities requred in a hotel. |
